The Recrea Project Team
Behind Recrea project are Joan Parareda and Alba Grau, two active people who are highly motivated to learn and travel. They have two daughters together.
Joan is an Agronomist Engineer. A sports and nature lover, he enjoys spending time outdoors, cultivating his organic vegetable patch and working in the garden.
Alba is a Geological Engineer and a secondary school math and science teacher. Passionate about architecture and photography, she also enjoys outdoors sports.
Ever since their daughters were born, they have both felt the need to contribute to the development of a more family-friendly world with their knowledge; a world in which children can develop while playing outdoors and where adults can socialise.
Their first step was to reclaim an area, which was formerly used as a family-forging workshop, and to turn it into a playful and educational area for their daughters.
